The four tours written about below are our most popular ones.  However, we will take you to many other locations, most of which are described on our Destinations – Closer and Destinations – Farther pagesPlease note that, because we adapt our tours to meet your wishes, we will take you to the places mentioned here and on our destinations pages – as well as to other locations – in any combination that is feasible with respect to the length of time that you will be in our area; nonetheless, we do require a minimum of three fares for each of our tours.

Grand Canyon Tour

After picking you up at your lodging – if you wish for us to do so – we will leave Flagstaff, Arizona, at 9:00 A.M. via Highway 89.  You will first visit Sunset Crater Volcano en route to the beautifully-restored, historic Cameron Trading Post with its high-quality Native American arts and crafts and its appetizing Navajo cuisine.  Upon arriving at the Grand Canyon’s East Rim at 10:30 A.M., you will marvel at Desert View and its spectacular Watchtower as well as other carefully-selected viewpoints.  At the Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim you will be able to explore the fascinating shops, see the famed El Tovar Hotel, visit Hopi House and hike along the Rim or into the Canyon itself.  You may also view the Canyon from an airplane or a helicopter and, in Tusayan, visit the Imax Theater (for each of these there is an additional fee).  We will depart the Canyon at 4:00 P.M. on Highway 180, enabling you to see the awesome San Francisco Peaks stunningly lit by the light of late afternoon, arriving in Flagstaff at 6:00 P.M.

For adults the cost of our “Great Circle Grand Canyon Excursion” is (Call for Updated Price), and for children aged 12 years and under it is (Call for Updated Price). By traveling with us you will be able to experience the wonders of the Canyon in a unique, informative and relaxed manner, avoiding the hassles of parking and driving in the Park.  (For more information about the Grand Canyon, please refer to our Destinations – Farther page.)

Hopi Land Tour

We will leave Flagstaff at 9:00 in the morning and will enter the land of the Hopi, whose lifestyle is very traditional, two hours later.  We will tour First, Second and Third Mesas, where Mr. Taylor’s familiarity with many Hopi individuals, including artists and craftsmen, will augment your enjoyment as well as your insights into the area.  And we will visit Walpi and Old Oraibi (on First and Third Mesas, respectively), two villages which have been continuously inhabited for approximately one thousand years.  Departing Hopi Land at 5:00 P.M., we will arrive in Flagstaff at 7:00 in the evening.

The price of this excursion is (Call for Updated Price) per adult and (Call for Updated Price) per child 12 years of age or less.  (Please see our Destinations – Farther page to learn more about the land of the Hopi.)

Monument Valley Tour

Leaving Flagstaff at 8:00 A.M., we will arrive at Monument Valley at approximately 1:45 in the afternoon, first visiting Goulding’s Lodge, where movie companies filming in the Valley reside.  Then we will enter Monument Valley itself, stopping at numerous breathtaking locations amidst its stunningly beautiful buttes, spires, mesas and canyons.  You will also go to areas sacred to the Navajo and, therefore, normally off-limits to others but accessible to Mr. Taylor and his guests because of his familiarity with the Valley’s Navajo residents.  We will depart Monument Valley at 4:00 P.M., arriving in Flagstaff four hours later.

For adults the charge for this trip is (Call for Updated Price), and for children no older than 12 years the fee is (Call for Updated Price).  (Our Destinations – Farther page contains additional facts about Monument Valley.)

Oak Creek Canyon/Sedona Tour

We will leave Flagstaff between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning via Route 89A, which traverses Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona and is one of the most scenic roads in America.  Upon arriving at Oak Creek Canyon 30 minutes later, you will marvel at its towering walls extending above and below you and, during the warm weather, at its beautiful vegetation.  If you wish, we will stop at Slide Rock State Park, where you can enjoy the natural waterslide and, on Saturdays, tour the historically important Pendley Homestead.  Next, we will proceed to Sedona, where you will be awed by its buttes and other fascinating, red sandstone configurations.  You will be able to enjoy Sedona’s many shops and art galleries and dine at one of its renowned restaurants.  For an additional fee you can explore the region by air and/or jeep.  We will depart Sedona at 4:00 in the afternoon, returning to Flagstaff on I-17, taking in yet additional sights and arriving “home” at 5:00 P.M.

The cost of this tour is (Call for Updated Price) per adult and (Call for Updated Price) per child 12 years or less in age.  (You will find more about Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona on our Destinations – Closer page.)
